TY Belo reminisced on how it all started as she photographed Linda Ikeji

TY Belo wrote on how she reminisced how it all started for her as a professional photographer, and how people thought she was not on the right path, as she wrote on her Instagram page 'LINDA IKEJI: So I remember a short moment I had during @officiallindaikeji 's shoot ...we were all in her bathroom .. she ..reclined beautifully in that tub .. surrounded by the beauty team ..every one was readjusting something .. making sure it is was all perfect .. but her phone was never far .. I noticed she  found moments to work .. in the middle of our drama .. I was then transported into a moment in her life over a decade ago when someone asked what she did .. and the look of confusion and worse ..concern when she retorted .. ' I'm a blogger ... I blog '.
I know that confused - concerned-almost -condescending look I got when  people didn't understand my answer .
I remember sitting in a car in 2001 and an older aunty  asked me .. what's that 'thing '  you said you do again ....'photography ' abi... ?everything about her tone put inverted commas on the word . But I stayed engaged because I knew she was genuinely interested and somewhat concerned... I answered yes and then she responded.. You're living your dreams .. abi? And before my goggly eyed  self could respond, she jerked me forward with a loud ...WAKE UP!!!!! .. I'll never forget .. Not necessarily the conversation itself but the conversations I had with my self afterwards .. I was so shaken .. no one had spoken so direct .most people just figured it was best to give me time to figure life out ... till I get a real job
In that conversation.. I did WAKE UP .. to the truth that I had made a choice .. I was going to live as a CREATIVE ... and that it wasn't something to .. 'see where this goes'.. this was going to be IT..my LIFE .my future .., so from that conversation .. I chose to give it  EVERYTHING !Every once in a while I still yell at my self .. WAKE UP!!! And I ask my self the real questions .Im I giving it EVERYTHING!! For to live the life of my dreams ... I must do it COMPLETELY AWAKE.
Special thanks to @officiallindaikeji  for letting us into her beautiful space and being such an amazing host .. and to the dream team that worked on this '

Tonto Dikeh husband speaks on the relationship between him, his son and his estranged wife

'I'm done with my relationship with Tonto Dikeh' - Olakunle Churchill's tell all on interview
Excerpts include: On whether there's still room to make it work out between them, Churchill said; "Oh, I've tried, but it's just like seeing danger and you going for it. I tried to get the relationship back so I could help her condition and because of my kid but she doesn't want peace."
.
On Churchill's relationship with his son and reaction to Tonto dressing up as him to attend his father's day event in school, he said: "That's the main reason why I was trying to make it work, because she does some things that are not normal at all. And only someone close to her can save her because she needs help. It's been 7-months now and all she's been doing is to give me a bad name. She makes it look like I don't care about my son. I help other kids, so why will i ignore my son. Since my son got back to country when he was 4-months, I opened a Zenith bank account for him and his mum is the sole signatory to that account. I put money in that account regularly. I send money to her own account as well and she won't even acknowledge the money when she gets it but she goes on saying I don't take care of my son. I've invited her family over to try and make peace but she's been deceiving everyone and goes back online to pull her stunts and the truth is King's passport has been with me since he got back to the country

Bisola 'I used to stylishly beg for food ' .

In a recent interview, former BBNaija contestant, Bisola Aiyeola, spoke about life after the show, how she wants to keep working to maintain her fame, her life before BBNaija and why she could not attend university.
Her words: "Looking back at Big Brother Naija… I wanted that platform. I wanted that wide reach. People send me messages from Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, etc. on a normal day, before I entered the house, how many people would have known me?
So yes, even though I did not win, I feel like I achieved my aim. Even if I won that money, It would still finish. Why she did not attend university I wrote Jamb and I was jammed. It’s not like I did not try. I tried so many schools all over the country.
It’s not that I wasn’t passing the exams; it was a problem of not getting funds. I did not have money to pay for certain things. I was even duped when I tried to enter LASU. That pulled me back and all this just made me discouraged.
I also tried National Open University (NOUN) and you know it is very easy to get into NOUN, and at certain times you needed to pay certain fees. Believe me; it was difficult to raise N15, 000 at that time.
I just decided that all of my energy let me use it into using my talent to feed myself. Sometimes when there was no food to eat at home, I take my daughter to my neighbor’s house under the pretext of watching television and stylishly feed my daughter and myself.
That’s why I can relate to people because when you are down, you are down. But one cannot just stay down. I would love to help people get out of this type of situation."

President Muhammadu Buhari resisted attempts to undermine acting president Yemi Osinbanjo

From his recuperation room in London, President Muhammadu Buhari, has reportedly been resisting attempts by some government officials, including ministers to undermine Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, The Nation reports.
He has refused to see such officials who sneak to the U.K with files for his signature, it was gathered yesterday. Buhari, authoritative government sources said, rejected the files and asked the affected government functionaries to take all documents and issues to Acting President Osinbajo.
He has also refused to grant audience to ministers and some presidential aides who indicated interest to see him. But the President met with First Lady Aisha during her recent trip to London, contrary to social media reports.
Sources said the President insisted that his administration runs one Presidency and since there is an Acting President in place, any attempt to create a division by anyone will not be tolerated.
In line with his belief in due process, the President directed that all files and documents be made available to the Acting President. A top source said: “Despite the fact that he is fast recuperating, the President has tried as much as possible to stick to one presidency.
He has refused to see some government officials who went to London to see him instead of being at their desks to work. He also returned all files and documents to those who brought them to London.

The President gave stern instructions that all files, documents and issues needing decisions should be taken to the Acting President. He does not want a divided government. Buhari is living up to his Spartan discipline. .
Those involved in taking files and documents to London had their ego deflated. And the truth is that the President has been speaking with the Acting President.
The declaration of the First Lady that the President was pleased with the conduct and performance of the Acting President was at the prompting of her husband to checkmate those who indulge in flying to London for unnecessary consultations and approvals.”

BBNaija controversial lover Miyonce and Tboss dating officially

BBNaija’s Miyonse, took to his Instagram page to pen down a love poem to an unidentified lady. The content of the poem indicated that the celebrity Chef had fallen head over heels in love with the mystery lady.
Although the love stricken handsome gentleman didn’t disclose who he wrote his poem to, he however left some trails that we’ve been able to sight.
Look closely at the top left corner of his text image, you can see a watermarked image of Tokunbo Idowu widely known as TBoss, with that her signatory glasses on
To reaffirm that the two are in a relationship, the 7th - 11th line states that:
‘If I were given a chance to choose again, I will choose you a million times over because life is not worth living it without you in it’.

So it’s very obvious that the duo are dating.

Chioma Omeruah, best known as Chigul 'I married at 33 and married a virgin'

My husband and I had our happy times. We were married for about a year. We just got to a point where we both didn’t care anymore. It just sort of fizzled. I’ve been made to believe it was my job to keep the marriage afloat and the fact that it sank, I take on my head. It was supposed to be easy. I had the Indian theme of roses in mind. I didn’t understand how no one cared. Except for my brother. I was depressed

When my marriage fell apart, I felt like I had failed at something and I had nowhere to land… I felt like I disappointed my dad. But no one was there for me. And I wanted to be able to go to my mum and cry and tell her ” I am tired” but she was just always saying “go back to your husband”. The worst was when I found out my husband has a child with someone else and I found out my mum knew. .

My mum and I, clash of titans. We clashed over everything. My mum and I quarrelled over my grades, my relationships, my marriage…I resented her

There were days I would get back home on Friday and wouldn’t get up till Monday except go to the bathroom or kitchen. It was one of the worst things that happened to me but also one of the best because it taught me a lot. I am now more responsible. I’m learning how to deal with men folk
.

Would I have changed anything about it? No. Because it happened for a reason. I’m happy it happened at one year with no children, no attachments

I have come across people that have told me I was no good and I would never make it and I was ugly. My self- esteem was literally in the out. I had little or no self-esteem and it affected me in a way that I saw myself become quite a people pleaser…
.
My weight has always been a sore spot. Always. My mum was worried because she had a brother who was big and had diabetic and eventually passed away. The worst thing someone ever said to me was on Instagram. It was a picture with a friend of mine and somebody said, despite the heavy make up “it is finally good to see Fiona from Shrek in person”. It hurt me so deep. Now I do work out everyday. I have a very good teacher and a supportive group.. log on
