A’slele hangout

 TANTOLOUN Productions is set to headline the 3rd edition of AS'TELE Hangout on the 9th of June, 2019 in Lagos, Nigeria. On this day all roads lead to Shodex Garden 251/253 Ikorodu road, Anthony bus stop,
AS’TELE Hangout is a collective for creatives.It is a platform where new, creative ideas and exceptional works in the visual and performing arts (dance, music, poetry, spoken word, etc.) are exhibited, often for the first time, to a select audience of art enthusiasts, stakeholders,colleagues, friends and family.
AS'TELE Hangout is aimed to promote new performative works of art such as Dance, music, poetry, visual art. It also promotes live, affordable and accessible art in Nigeria.
PERFORMANCES
1. PIECE title: Weep not mother
In our today's world so many depressed persons tend to think that the best revenge is Suicide. But here comes this short piece which punctuates the absurdity of suicide, not a defense for life's bait. Say No to Suicide!
PROFILE: Noble Albert had is diploma and Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts from the prestigious university of Lagos Akoka. He is a prolific script writer, actor, director, film maker, and an orator and had been involved on both stage and screen productions. He is the founder/director of Hi Noble connects, a company that evolved from a retrogressive state using theatre to drive our paths specifically to help erase some sort of moral indecency and otherwise...There fore, we stand for "A Push Against Societal Decadence."
2. Title: “Evermore”
This performance will be an adaptation from Beauty and the Beast told through the interpretation of the
Performer. It will be a mix of Monologue and Music with a little bit of Improvisation.
GBOLABO ADEBAKIN aka Chef Gibbs widely referred to as the SingingChef is a seasoned performing artiste and Hospitality specialist. With over 5years of professional singing and acting, Gibbs has a strong background in opera, Jazz, stage, negrospiritual, gospel and Contemporary Music. He has featured in productions at the renowned Arena, TerraKulture, National Theatre, Muson , and the Main Auditorium, University of Lagos. He has also excelled in the Hospitality scene haven worked with several Hotel and food-related Institutions. He is an oldboy of the prestigious Kings College Lagos and bags a B.Sc in Zoology from the University of Lagos. Gbolabo Gibbs recently crowned his achievements as he earned the bragging rights at the Unilever Nigeria PlC cooking show, winning the title of Knorr Taste Quest 5 Ultimate Cook. Gbolabo Gibbs is very active in Ministry, volunteering and the development of the Nigerian youth. He believes that everyone has values and dreams and should not give up until they are achieved.
3. Title: LAGOS SOUND
Lagos sound have a strong impact on the imagination, i believe they can't be ignored or intervene, the
sound is completely embody in Lagos in a new way...
Ibukun Oladipupo is a sound artist and a violist from Nigeria, living and working in Lagos. Ibukun use sound to create ambientmusic liveelectronics soundart soundscape synthesizermusic darkambient synthesizer and improviser, ibukun also makes sounds to connect wild and human feelings.

Ibukun also has don a soundart piece for Mr Qudus Onikeku (QDanceCenter). Mr Tunde Jegede classical music (nok ochestra).
4. Music performance by Drumsview Concept. A blend of contemporary jazz and traditional Drums ensemble .
5. Title: ‘The Call'
This piece by Tantoloun Productions is an invocation, an invitation to self exploration, Destiny inquisition,
Interaction and oneness with nature.

MC: The Host of the day is Fondly referred to as WOLE. Oyewole Salisu Is An In Demand Compare And Comedian With Passion For Lighting Up Hearts And Events. In Additional To Rib Cracking Clean Ethical Jokes And The Classy Management Of Programs And Events, WOLE Also Bring To The Table The Ability To Adapt To The Customized Program To Suit The Needs Of Specific And Unique Audiences.
Ahead of the anticipated performances, the creative team say, "we are excited to be show casing at AS'TELE Hangout. So we are calling stakeholders, critics, art enthusiasts, friends and families to come, share and participate in this amazing experience. The event starts at 5pm prompt. When we say 5pm, in reality, we mean 4.30pm. This is not Africa... this is TANTOLOUN Productions. You surely don’t want to miss any moment of the show. See you!
A’stele Hangout is a project powered by Tantoloun Productions. First edition was done in November 2017 and it has be ongoing till date.
